We hope the first quarter of the school year has lifted off strong. As we edge closer to the winter, we wanted to announce our second season of lower school basketball. The details for this season are below:
- The main purpose of these teams is to offer our lower school players a chance to play together with their school mates. As such, it is rec/beginner-level.
- This is a program for both elementary school boys and girls.
- Practices will be 2x per week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the AACS Annapolis Campus Lower School. We are anticipating 4-5 PM for K-2nd grade players and 5-6 PM for 3rd-5th grade players. Confirmation coming soon. Practices will start the week after Thanksgiving.
- Games (6-7 total) will take place at the AACS Severn Run Campus High School. Games will take place between 12-1:30 PM (unless winter weather reschedules us). The first game will be played after the New Year.
- Cost is $80. The cost covers the equipment fees and uniforms (if you have a uniform you have used from a previous season, the registration cost will $50).
- This winter, we wish to partially expand our elementary program beyond AACS. If you think there is a family that is interested and would be a good fit, this is an excellent way to introduce them to our community. Please reach out to me!
