Sarah Bierc ('11) has been a dedicated Fine Arts and Social Studies teacher at Annapolis Area Christian School for the past seven years, bringing both passion and expertise to the classroom and stage. She holds a B.S. and M.A. in History from Liberty University. As a student, she was an active member of the Drama Club and International Thespian Society, performing in productions such as The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Godspell, and You Can't Take It With You.

For the past three years, Sarah has had the great joy of advising the Upper School Drama Club and directing Troupe #7256 of the International Thespian Society. She has directed several Upper School Drama Club productions, including Pride and Prejudice, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Radium Girls, Godspell, and You Can’t Take It With You.

Beyond AACS, she has an extensive background in theater, earning an Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship nomination at The Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival for her performance as Petruchio in a gender-reversed production of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew. Her recent theater credits also include Production & Properties Manager for AACS’s productions of Little Women and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, as well as working on the Costume Crew for Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre’s production of Footloose.

Sarah remains committed to fostering a love for theater and storytelling, inspiring students both on and off the stage.

Emily Santucci-Hendrix is a music teacher at Annapolis Area Christian School Upper School. She holds a B.Mus. in Music Education and B.S. in Bible from Cairn University, and is currently working towards a M.M. in Instrumental Conducting from Messiah University. She has led and performed with various choral and instrumental ensembles, and made her debut in musical theatre as the music director for last year’s AACS production of Hello Dolly! She is passionate about music education, and strives to provide tools for students to not only perform well, but to become independent musicians and develop a love for music that points them towards Christ.
