Flyers: 6 to 7 year olds
Flyers are challenged each day with a balanced mix of active learning and play. Their daily schedule includes science, art, nature walks, drama, water play, theme activities, Bible class, PE, free play, and more!
Voyagers: 8 to 9 year olds
Voyagers' schedules are built to accommodate their curiosity and energy! They get to enjoy theme activities, eco explorations, engaging Bible lessons, PE, video production, game room time, art and drama, and much more!
Pioneers: 10 to 11 year olds
Pioneers are on the move. They get to enjoy all previously listed activities...PLUS more advanced art projects, tech options & archery!
Trailblazers: 12 to 13 year olds
While trailblazers have more opportunities for choice built into their schedule, trained counselors and staff will help these campers stay focused and engaged. They'll stay busy participating in all previously listed activities throughout the week! *Note for parents: We will be implementing a strict no-device policy for all campers, but Trailblazers may have a few specific blocks of free time throughout their week, where personal devices may be taken out of backpacks and used in a highly monitored setting. Outside of these times, we ask that you expect us to enforce the no device policy and that you speak with your Trailblazers about that policy before registering them for camp.
CIT Program: 14 to 16 year olds
Our Counselor in Training (CIT) Program is a unique opportunity for teenagers who are interested in leadership development, and who are accepted via an application and interview process into the program. CITs participate in a mentorship program while also gaining practical experience in helping to run the day to day operations of Eagles Explorations. For teens who are looking for a productive way to spend their summer, we are proud to offer an option that bridges the gap between being a camper and being a counselor. CITs will participate in leadership development activities, check in daily with their mentor, and take special team building field trips during their time in the program. If you are interested in having your teen participate, reach out to Jacob Roth at jroth@aacsonline.org.

Summer Programs General FAQs
Can I register for a variety of different kinds of camp weeks?
Yes! AACS students and their siblings can extend a half day specialty camp by adding Eagles Explorations to the afternoons to create a full day. Where are these camps located?
AACS Summer Programs camps are located on two of our school campuses in Anne Arundel County. Our Middle School hosts Shot Doctor, FirePower, and Weber Bulldog basketball camps, while the remainder of the programming is hosted at the Upper School campus. If you're registering on or before March 31st, an automatic $25 Early Bird discount will be applied to each week of EE for each child you register! Please contact the office at summer@aacsonline.org if you have questions about how discounts have been applied to your enrollment or if you believe they have not been applied correctly. AACS faculty discounts can be requested during the registration process as well, but will have to be confirmed by our office before they are applied to your final balance.
Is a deposit required to register, and how do refunds/cancellations work?
Yes, a $100 deposit per child, per session is required in order to hold that spot for your camper. Deposits are non-refundable after 7 days, except in unique circumstances, which are assessed on a case-by-case basis. (No payment adjustments will be made for voluntary, non-medical withdrawal or absence.) The remainder of the funds due beyond the initial deposit must be paid by June 1st, or immediately at the time of registration if registering on or after June 1st. Failure to make payment in full by that date will result in your camper's spot being opened for someone on the waiting list. You will receive reminder emails from Campwise concerning remaining payments needed to be made.
How does the bus option work?
If you want to take advantage of the daily bus that takes campers from Annapolis to Severn and back again at the end of the day, simply add the "transportation" subprogram option during your registration.
