These sixth graders cannot get enough of iDesign, Mrs. Howe's STEM elective that inspires curiosity and facilitates creative thinking. Students engage in hands-on learning opportunities to design, experiment, tinker, and build using a variety of materials, including small motors, a 3D printer, and recycled and reusable resource materials. Using the engineering design process, Mrs. Howe's "iDesigners" collaborate using critical thinking to problem-solve. Cardboard Creations, which received rave reviews from students, used recycled cardboard to create something new. Check out the full photo gallery on the AACS website.
