Lunch Program

At the Lower and Middle Schools, we have created a parent-run catered lunch program. Service for this program begins after September 1st. Menus and order forms will be available in August. Proceeds of the program go directly to fund student programs. Agreements with several restaurants in the area have resulted in healthy selections brought in daily for those who have ordered and paid for their meals a month in advance. Click the area below to see more about each divisional program and to find registration forms.

The Upper School features its very own all inclusive, all you care to eat dining hall. The lunch service is part of the cost of tuition. Read more about this at the Upper School link below.

Upper School All Inclusive Lunch Service
Beginning with the 2016-17 school year, AACS partnered with SAGE Dining Services®. SAGE, established in 1990, is the leading food service provider for independent schools and colleges throughout North America. SAGE's unparalleled expertise in nutrition, sustainability, and culinary trends produces exceptional dining experiences that delight the senses, inspire minds, and foster community.

SAGE provides our school community with delicious, dietitian-approved meals, cooked from scratch using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Their talented chefs enhance mealtime with a wide array of options and flavors, including Asian-inspired dishes, Latin American cuisine, and vegetarian and vegan fare. A monthly Educational Seasonings program explores food in cultural and historical contexts, and chefs often engage communities with exciting display cooking.

All SAGE Team Members have extensive training in food service protocols and food allergy awareness. Their open kitchen policy allows parents to schedule a time to visit and ask questions about inventories and preparation methods. SAGE's comprehensive online allergen filter is an important tool that allows students and parents to filter all menus for allergens and choose safe meals.

Upper School Sage Update December 2018

November 29, 2018
Status of Romaine Lettuce

Based on recommendations from the FDA and CDC on 11/26/18, romaine lettuce coming from anywhere but the Central Coastal growing regions of northern and central California is acceptable to consume.

SAGE has checked the origin of romaine lettuce with our produce distributors and we will not receive or serve any from California until another update is released from the FDA and CDC that California growers are cleared.

If romaine lettuce is served in your dining hall, please know that its origin has been checked by your on-site Manager and is safe to eat.

Please alert your community and certainly contact your on-site SAGE Manager if you have any questions.

Thanks for allowing us to serve you.
