AACS continues to monitor updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Anne Arundel County Department of Health. According to the CDC, "There is no vaccine to prevent COVID-19.  So, it is important to take everyday preventive steps that are always recommended to slow the spread of respiratory illnesses like colds, flu and COVID-19. Please review our health guidelines below that outline virus spread prevention.

Before & After Care

We understand that today's schedules are hectic, especially for families where the hours of work-days don't coincide with those of school-days. We offer supervised care at both the Lower and Middle School campuses to help families make syncing work and school an easier task. At the Lower School, we call this "Before & After Care" and at the Middle School, this is called "Supervised Study." Space limitations require that regularly attending students be registered.

Before and After Care Fees
Hourly fees are for any portion of an hour.

  • Registration (non-refundable): $15 for the first child, $10 for the second, $30 maximum per family.
  • Hourly Rate: Rate: $6.60/$7.60 per child until 4pm. Past 4pm, an additional charge of $1.65 per child ($1.90 for drop-ins) is applied at the beginning of each quarter hour.

Lower School Hours of Operation

Before and After Care is available weekdays when school is in session, for a fee, from 7 to 8 a.m. for both the Annapolis and Severn campuses, and again from 3 to 6 p.m. for the Annapolis Campus and 2:45 to 6 p.m. for the Severn Campus.
