The Girls Varsity Swim team finished in 2nd place at the IAAM C Conference Swimming Championships on Monday, February 3.

The relay teams really made a big statement for the Eagles finishing 1st in every relay we participated in - 200 Medley (Molly Luman, Kate Pritchett, Rachel Hutchins, and Camille Smith), 200 Free (Peyton Richardson, Verity Fogarty, Pritchett, and Grace Foster), and the 400 Free (Hutchins, Smith, Foster, and Luman).  Both the 200 Medley team and 400 Free team broke school records.

Hutchins continued to have a record-shattering performance by also breaking the school record with her 1st place finish in the 200 IM and 2nd place in the 100 Breaststroke.

Smith had an excellent performance as well finishing 1st in the 50 Free (breaking a school record) and 3rd in the 100 Backstroke

The Eagles took home 18 medals overall and the runner up plaque to finish out an incredible season.

17th Annual Pink Out This Weekend
Amy Sproul

Started in 2008 by Grace Mercer ‘09, our 17th annual Pink Out continues to be a staple in the AACS community. What started as a senior practicum project and a way to honor her mother (a breast cancer survivor), Pink Out has raised over $103,000 since its inception.

All proceeds from t-shirt sales and admissions for Pink Out will go to The DeCesaris Cancer Institute in Annapolis.

Come out to the Upper School decked out in pink to support our basketball teams and a great cause!

“The Pink Out has turned into something so much bigger than I could have ever imagined.” -Grace Mercer ‘09
