AACS Athletic Hall of Fame
Founded in 2010, the Annapolis Area Christian School Athletic Hall of Fame was established to pay tribute to those individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the quality and tradition of AACS athletics. The example the Hall of Fame members demonstrate is an encouragement and a challenge to those both outside and within the school. While not exclusive, the following attributes will be principal factors in selecting someone into the Hall of fame: Christian character, recognized athletic excellence, leadership and commitment.
Any member of the AACS family may submit a nomination for individuals who meet the eligibility criteria. We hope you will reflect deeply on the athletes and coaches who have shaped AACS athletics.

Please review the following criteria. To nominate an individual whom you feel meets the criteria complete the attached form. Forms must be typed. Hand-written forms will not be accepted. Please submit to:

Categories for Nomination
Individuals may be nominated representing one of three categories; athlete, coach and special merit, or a combination of the three. Those submitting a nomination must indicate the primary category(s) of a nominated individual. Be as detailed as possible on the nominee’s achievements, accomplishments and contributions. Please include a short essay on why you believe this individual should be in the Athletic Hall of Fame. All contact information for the nominee and for the person making the nomination must be listed on the form.
1. Athlete: Any person who distinguished himself/herself in the field of athletics during his/her tenure as a student at Annapolis Area Christian School. The nominee must have graduated at least seven (7) years prior to the date of nomination. Criteria considerations should include:
- Play in any league in which AACS participated including the MCAL, MISAL, MIAA, IAAM, CSAA
- All-American, All-Met, All-State, All Conference or All-County recognition at the varsity level
- AACS record holder
- Collegiate and/or professional athletic accomplishments
- Other considerations may be taken into account but may not take the place of the above criteria
2. Coach: Coaches are eligible following the completion of their tenth year at AACS. Criteria considerations include:
- Significant contributions to the athletic program at AACS
- Competency, leadership and accomplishments that have merited local and/or statewide recognition
3. Award of Special Merit/Service: An individual who has made outstanding contributions in areas other than as an athlete and/or coach to the interscholastic athletic program at AACS. This category may include:
- Parents
- School administrators
- Other supporters of the AACS athletic program.
