Summer is a time for fun and relaxation and also for preparing for the year ahead. Plan ahead by reviewing school supply lists, textbook, orientation information, uniform information and more.

It is your choice where to buy your school supplies. If you buy from Office Depot, please use ID number on the top of the supply list. This will give our school 5% back for supplies we need throughout the year. This program is not just for back to school supplies-use it all year at Office Depot.

Use EdTech Books for purchasing your books and the EdTech book buyback instructions/information. Will be "open" after June 25th, 2018.
Online Used Book Exchange - If you have books that you would like to sell within the AACS community, please post them on the Upper School Online Textbook Connection, its the place to sell your books or buy used books for the upcoming school year. The textbook connection is down for the year. Check back at the end of the school year, when you will be able to post your used books for rising students next year.
2017-18 Uniform & Dress Code This link will be updated to 2018-19 once the student handbooks are available over the summer. We do not anticipate any changes to the uniform and dress code for the 2018-19 school year.
Used Uniform Closet (located at the Middle School Campus) - Kids grow so fast! Here's a chance for you to bless someone else with a gently used hand-me-over! If you have anything from the approved uniform list that someone else might be able to use, please bring it to the used uniform closet! You may also find gently used or even new uniforms for your son or daughter. Lower, Middle and Upper School uniforms are available. Thank you for taking care of each other!

All Inclusive Lunch Program at the Upper School
The Upper School lunch provider is SAGE Dining Services. SAGE offers an all inclusive, all-you-care-to-eat lunch service with a wide selection of freshly prepared and high quality food. Everyday there are hot meal options, a soup and salad bar, a sandwich bar, a dessert table, and other selections. For more information on SAGE, please watch the video at this link.

Upper School Orientation
Required Orientation Day – Tuesday, August 21 (the day before school starts)
Those who are NEW 9th graders and new 10th-12th graders) and their parents will begin orientation in the Kerr Auditorium at 8:00am. There will be a program for parents until approximately 10:15am and students are expected to finish around 11:00am. New students are free to leave at 11 am on Tuesday, August 21st.
Returning students (parents need not attend) should attend orientation according to the following schedule to help with efficient processing at all orientation stations:
- 12:30-1:15pm Stations open to students who are involved in a fall co-curricular activity (e.g., Athletics, Marching Band).
- 1:15-2:00pm Stations open to students whose last names begin with A-H.
- 2:00-3:00pm Stations open to students whose last names begin with I-Z.
During this self-guided time, returning students should:
- Get their ID photo taken in the Main Gym.
- Ensure their passwords for the various computer and website logins are working.
- Setup their lockers and deposit books.
- Introduce themselves to some of the new faculty and staff.
