AACS Upper School Principal
Annapolis Area Christian School (AACS) is seeking qualified candidates to join its leadership team as the Upper School’s principal starting in July 2021. This position reports directly to the superintendent/head of school and supports AACS’s mission by providing spiritual and instructional leadership to the Upper School community.
The Upper School principal reports to the superintendent/head of school and supports AACS’s mission and foundational statements by providing spiritual and instructional leadership to the high school community. The qualified candidate is a godly leader who oversees a flourishing distinctly Christian educational community of more than 400 students and their families, nearly 2,400 alumni, and 50 faculty and staff. In doing so, the academic, co-curricular programs, and daily operations of the Upper School align with the ACSI accreditation standards and contribute to the school’s strategic and continuous school improvement plan goals.

Bible Teacher
Annapolis Area Christian School is searching for a full-time upper school Bible teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. Candidates should have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Bible education, Bible, theology, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a teaching endorsement or certificate (e.g. ACSI certificate) and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the high school level. In addition to a strong academic background in Bible and theology, expertise in teaching the concept of a biblical worldview is essential for this position.
English Teacher
Annapolis Area Christian School is searching for a full-time Upper School English Teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English Education, English, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a teaching endorsement or certificate (e.g. ACSI certificate) in English and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the high school level. Expertise and experience teaching the subject from a biblical worldview are essential for this position. Will teach five English classes with other duties as assigned by the Principal or their designee.

Math Teacher
Annapolis Area Christian School is searching for a full-time middle school math teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. Candidates should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education with a focus on math. Must be able to teach general mathematics through geometry, one or two electives, and middle school Bible.

Lower School Instructional Positions
2nd Grade Teacher at Campus in Severn
Annapolis Area Christian School is searching for a full-time Second Grade teacher for our Severn Lower School campus for the 2021-2022 school year. Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of teaching experience, teaching endorsement, or certificate (e.g., ACSI certificate or state certification) in elementary education, and experience teaching from a biblical worldview.
2nd Grade Teacher at Campus in Annapolis
Annapolis Area Christian School is searching for a full-time Second Grade teacher for our Annapolis Lower School campus for the 2021-2022 school year. Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Kindergarten Aid at Campus in Annapolis
Annapolis Area Christian School is searching for a Kindergarten Aid for the 2021-2022 school year. This position will most likely be 35 or 40 hours a week. The kindergarten aid will work directly with the kindergarten teacher to support the academic, emotional and spiritual growth of the kindergarten students. Candidates with teaching experience are preferred.

Upper School Assistant Maintenance Technician
Annapolis Area Christian School is seeking a full-time Assistant Maintenance Technician at its Upper School campus. Qualified candidate will facilitate the safety and security of the buildings and grounds; support setup and take down of meetings and events; oversee cleanliness of buildings and grounds; work with vendors; routine maintenance and repair; snow removal; field maintenance.
Must have some experience in construction or facility maintenance. Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry preferred. Hours are 7:30am – 4:00pm, but may be asked to work later or on-call.

Marketing & Media Manager
The Marketing and Media Manager is responsible for the day-to-day tasks involved with advertising, printing, and digital marketing content and analysis, as well as website and social media management.

Ideal candidates will follow the teachers instructional plans and administer materials in a way which motivates, challenges and engages students while providing order and discipline in the classroom. Candidates should have a minimum of a bachelor's degree, ideally in an education field, and teaching experience. Athletic Coaching Positions at The Upper School Campus
Annapolis Area Christian School is currently seeking to fill coaching positions at the upper school campus.
- Girls’ Varsity Volleyball Assistant Coach
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of coaching experience. For the Head Varsity positions, it is preferable if you have varsity- or college-level coaching experience. Candidates should possess a vibrant Christian testimony and faith, a love of young people, enthusiasm and alignment with AACS Core Values, excellent organization, and communication skills. These are paid, part-time positions, some with the possibility of a full time-position depending on teaching qualifications. Part-Time School Bus Driver
Annapolis Area Christian School seeks a substitute school bus driver.
Qualified applicants will have a CDL class B with "P" passenger, "S" school bus, airbrake endorsements, and a current DOT medical card. Experience driving school-aged children to and from home, school, athletic events, and field trips is desired. Requirements include: passing federal and state background check; pass drug and alcohol tests and random drug and alcohol testing; clean MVR.
