Junior Job Shadow Day is required for all AACS juniors as a precursor to their senior practicum. The Junior Job Shadow Day program provides students the opportunity to see firsthand how the skills learned in school relate to the workplace.
If you are interested in hosting a student, please contact Toye Griffin at tgriffin@aacsonline.org. While job shadowing at your business, students will want to see what a typical day on the job is like. You can explain to them what your business entails, and what your role is within the organization. You can assign age-appropriate tasks to the students, which they should do under your supervision.
