Christian School Culture

The culture at AACS is our #1 defining characteristic.  It is what our parents say they value the most about the school. Our students are immersed in a Christ-centered school culture where being a compassionate neighbor, an effective communicator, and a responsible steward are just as important as doing your very best academically. While everything we do contributes to our school culture, it is our covenantal partnership with parents and our biblical worldview that serve as the foundation for our unique Christ-centered culture.

Covenantal Christian School

It is the philosophy of AACS that we exist to partner with Christian families specifically seeking to provide their children with an excellent education from a biblical worldview. As a school founded on Christian principals we believe Christ is central to the educational experience. This is a unique aspect of our school that greatly impacts our school culture and that our families and students truly value. Our admission policies are designed to help parents and the school ensure that an effective partnership or covenant is formed so that a consistent message can be modeled and taught to the child in the home, church, and school. While we are a diverse community - diverse in ethnicity, race, socioeconomic status, experiences, backgrounds, and more - biblical values serve as a unifying foundation.  We set aside our focus on differences in favor of unity in spirit.

Biblical Worldview

We all have a lens through which we view and understand the world. History, science, the arts, and every subject and every curriculum has a viewpoint. If a Christian viewpoint is not present, the only other option is a non-Christian viewpoint. There is no such thing as a “neutral viewpoint.” We teach from a Biblical worldview; God is real, the Bible is true, and biblical principles and values are integrated into our academics, athletics, arts, activities, and attitudes.
